My favorite memory growing up is my dad and I sitting in front of the television one night after everyone had gone to sleep and watching movies all night long. Less then a year later he passed away and as I went through his things I realized I didn't have as many memories documented as I would have liked. That is the moment something inside me lit up with the desire to document life more through photography.

I've been taking pictures professionally for many years but it was not until a few years ago that I decided on the name "P31: Photography". If you know anything about me or plan on knowing me, there is one thing you won't miss, I am who I am because of my Lord, Jesus Christ. If it was not for the Lord, I don't know where I'd be and it's because of him I have the opportunity to document people's special memories. P31 is a chapter in the bible, Proverbs 31.

The best thing about photography for me is when I hear from a client that my pictures made them cry. I know that sounds horrible but there is something about knowing that pictures that I took touched someone so deeply that tears came to their eyes. I am grateful I have the opportunity to meet new and interesting people and document their lives.
